COMPOSITION:

INDICATIONS:
OMEPROTEC INJECTABLE is indicated in the treatment or prevention of gastric or duodenal ulcers in canines, it is recommended in patients with presence of acid gastric hypersecretion who do not respond to treatments with other H2 antagonists; Acute gastritis, idiopathic ulcers, esophagitis and gastric erosion due to uremic syndrome, as an adjunct to the prevention of gastric ulcers in the administration of ulcerogenic drugs.
WAY OF ADMINISTRATION:

DOSAGE:
CANINES:
For the management and prevention of idiopathic, gastroduodenal ulcers, esophagitis, gastric hypersecretion due to gastroma (Zollinger Ellison syndrome) as well as gastric erosion due to uremic syndrome and for the maintenance of the vitality of the gastric mucosa in pancreatitis: 0.5 to 1.5 mg / kg every 24 hours, equivalent to 0.1 to 0.3 mL for every 20 kg of body weight for up to 8 weeks. For the treatment of gastric ulcers, administer from 0.7 to 2.2 mg / kg every 24 hours, equivalent to 0.14 to 0.44 mL for every 20 kg of live weight. Gastroesophary reflux, gastric ulcers and acid hypersecretion from 0.7 to 1 mg / kg every 24 hours, equivalent to 0.14 to 0.2 mL for every 20 kg of body weight.
EQUINES:
Loading dose of 1 mg / kg, equivalent to 1 mL per 100 kg of live weight and maintenance dose of 0.5 mg / kg every 24 hours for 5 days, equivalent to 0.5 mL per 100 kg of weight alive.
